Maydan is one of my very favorite DC restaurants. I was so excited to get my hands on their new cookbook! I was curious to see how the recipes would transfer. In the restaurant, everything is cooked over a giant fire, and they are known for their delicious sauces. So far, everything we’ve tried has been amazing and I’m so glad to recreate some of our favorite dishes, especially since we no longer live in DC. With grilling season upon us, I know we will get great use out of this book and can easily host a crowd with a pretty tablescape—see my picks above!
