Full disclosure, this is one of my favorite cookbooks. Dining In by Alison Roman is full of amazing recipes and reminders that entertaining does not need to be fussy. Read every word of this book–you’ll get to know Alison and feel a little more empowered to just have people over and don’t overthink it. Sharing a few essentials you’ll need for this week’s Cookbook Club menu, and some items that fit our casual vibe. Dinner party made easy below.
- Oven Safe Pink Caraway Pan: a pretty color for a pan you’ll use a lot.
- Colorful Drinking Glasses: these mismatched glasses feel like a throw back.
- Laguiole Hostess Set Serving Pieces: really lovely, timeless serving utensils. A great gift idea.
- Cloth Napkins: cloth napkins make your table feel a little more pulled together.
- Striped Tablecloth: an easy pattern for every day use, goes with anything.
- Dining In Cookbook: on sale right now for $16!!! If you don’t already have a copy, what are you waiting for.
- Enamel Tray: use this for our main course, as a drink tray, to meal prep, etc. less than $20!
- Faux Poppies; I love l these. They’ll add a little motion and some color to your table and can be reused.
- Folding Chairs: in my cart! How cute are these for extras guests? It’s always a good idea to have an extra seat or two and these look so nice.
- Tart Pan: something a little different—a beautiful color.
